What is a ladder? A ladder system sees all players placed in a ladder, one on top of the other. Players challenge each other. If a player lower down the ladder beats a higher placed player, the lower winning player moves up the ladder, and the previously higher ranked player drops down one position. This is known as the Leap Frog scoring system.

If limited to 1hr, which tends to be the norm in New York, play either Fast4 Best of 3 with a 3rd Set Tiebreaker, Best of 3 regular sets (count the games at the end of the hour and input the score as “anything goes”) or play a Single Set.
Both players bring a new can of balls for play. The Challenger chooses which balls to use. The winner of the match takes home the unopened can of balls. The loser takes the used balls or recycles them.
11. Players will not be penalized for not playing matches.
