Our first season
Since 2023, the Manhattan Ladder has grown into the biggest ladder community in Manhattan, NYC.
The season runs April 20 – September 30, culminating in an October Round of 16 tournament and Finals Sunday chair umpired by a USTA Official at Billie Jean King National Tennis Center, Flushing Queens.
Players compete for cash prizes, sponsored gear, exclusive merchandise, champion's trophy, and a chance to be crowned on NYC's top court.

New York tennis does not stop when the temperature drops. The Manhattan Tennis Association Winter Indoor Doubles Ladder is a fully flexible, team-based indoor challenge ladder built for players who want competitive doubles, new partners, and a reason to keep playing all winter long.

How it works

Per player
All ladder entry fees are non-refundable.
Registration fees support operational costs, prize money, and court reservations. Once registered, spots are assigned and credits are non-transferable.

Get placed
Players are placed on a ranked ladder based on level.

Challenge
Challenge opponents within 5 spots of your rank in your division.

Play
Schedule matches directly with your opponent.

Move up
Win and climb the ladder.
- Each division operates as its own ladder.
- Players can challenge up within their division (up to 5 spots).
Top 16 players in each division qualify for playoffs. Finals are held at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center on the last Sunday in October.
