During winter months, when the gate is open, no pass is required and if no sign-up sheet is posted it is first-come first-served.
Total refurbishment completed and reopened summer 2022.
New York Assembly Member Danny O'Donnell provided public reimbursement funds to the Riverside Park Conservancy, which paid $125,000 for the renovations.
